Under Leo Zhang’s leadership, the Destination Cooperation Department adheres to a customer-centricity principle, has established a seamless cooperation mechanism among teams, professionalism, integrity, and a win-win partnership system to create maximum value for clients. The department has established deep strategic cooperation with nearly 200 destinations across 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, focusing on city brand promotion, cross-border resource integration, smart tourism development, and industrial transformation and upgrading to support the high-quality growth of the cultural tourism industry. From 2018 to 2022, Leo successfully organized the World Culture and Tourism Conference in Xi’an for three consecutive years and launched the Traveler’s Forum series in collaboration with cities including Chengdu, Shanghai, Xi’an, Chongqing, Changsha, Wenzhou, and Changchun. He also advanced international promotions with destinations such as Shaanxi, Henan, and Hainan to boost inbound tourism, and drove the “Jiangsu Culture and Tourism Consumption Promotion Season.” During the epidemic, his team played a key role in supporting the Group’s Tourism Revival V Plan and the recovery of domestic tourism. Leo currently serves as a policy advisory expert for Xinjiang’s Culture and Tourism Industry Cluster Development, an advisor to the French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in China (CCIFC), and Vice Chairman of the Hangzhou Tourism Association. Since 2024, he has led his team in organizing cultural exchange initiatives such as the China-France Tourism Year, promoting the sustained and healthy development of China’s inbound tourism market as well as cultural exchanges and friendly cooperation with countries worldwide.
