Zhou Wei, born in 1974, is Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Harbin Modern Tourism and Cultural Investment Group, as well as Vice Chairman of both the Heilongjiang Federation of Social Sciences and the Heilongjiang Musicians Association. He is also a National First-Class Director. With a strong professional foundation, Zhou graduated in Journalism from Heilongjiang University and later earned master’s degrees in Economic Management and in Philosophy of Science and Technology. He previously worked at Heilongjiang Broadcasting and Television Station as a host, producer, deputy channel director, and head of the Culture & Sports Department before assuming his current role in 2023. Zhou has extensive experience directing major national events. He served as a segment director for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony and produced the 24 Solar Terms countdown film. He was also the director of the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games and currently serves as Director of Large-Scale Events and Spokesperson for the 2025 Asian Winter Games Organizing Committee. He has been an expert judge for the Golden Eagle Award Host Committee and is a recipient of the Golden Microphone Award and the national title of “Virtuous and Skilled” Television Artist.
