Anne-Laure Tuncer has been with Atout France, the French tourism development agency, since 1997. In 2024, she was appointed Regional Director for the Far East, based in Beijing. In this role, she is responsible for strategically increasing tourism revenue from key Asian markets, including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and ASEAN. Her focus is on shifting from merely growing visitor numbers to maximizing per-visitor spending in France by promoting high-value travel segments.
Previously, from 2011 to 2024, she served as Director for the USA and Americas Coordinator, based in New York. Her earlier career included a four-year tenure in London as Head of the Business Travel Division and later as Deputy Director. She began her international posting in 2000 as a Press Attaché in New York, after initially working for three years in the marketing department at Atout France's head office in Paris.
